Casa Bey is the first single from Mos Def’s phenomenal 4th album, I decided not to get into the hype of this album after I found his last album Tru3 Magic a bit disappointing. The Ecstatic is definitely a return to form and very reminiscent to his début album “Black on Both Sides” which I have to say is in my Top 10 hip hop albums of all time.
