A fantastic insite into one of the most interesting avante garde jazz icons of the past century Sun Ra, I have been fascinated by his life and music for the past few years and this documentary really highlights what an intriguing figure Sun Ra was.
My interest in Sun Ra and his Arkestra was further ingrained when I noticed how much my favorite music producer Madlib is heavily influenced by him,...
Zelda Reorchestrated →
The classic game Zelda: Ocarina of Time a favorite of many has had the complete soundtrack reorchestrated, sounds pretty awesome.
Michael Jackson’s This is It video directed by Spike Lee, really touched my emotional chord as after watching it, I feel just like the days after the news of his death.
Spike’s video is a perfect tribute to an icon.

It’s great to see New Young Pony Club back after their amazing debut album in 2007, looks like they’ve updated their sound to more of a post-punk/new wave feel this outing and not lost any of their cool.

The War for Cybertron is nigh, the story of the Transformers before coming to Earth will be told in a new game by Activision as seen in this teaser trailer and it seems that it’s not tied to any existing cannon. So I’m hoping the gameplay will be a less hard version of the amazing PS2 game.
After the travesty that was Revenge of the Fallen, I’m hoping this game will re-ingnite...
Return of The Dark Knight, just released trailer for the sequel to the amazing Batman: Arkham Asylum. The first game was nothing short of fantastic and is easily the best superhero game I have ever played.
My reaction to the first game was like the first time I watched Batman Begins, it’s what I have been waiting for. Everything I’ve wanted in Batman.
I only hope they improve and...

'Gossip Girl' gets manga makeover →
Gossip Girl: For Your Eyes Only is an upcoming Manga adaptation of my guilty pleasure, American series Gossip Girl. I’ll be checking this out.
Trailer for the upcoming feature length Justice League: Crisis of Two Earths pits DC’s big guns against their evil counterparts from a different dimension, the Crime Syndicate of America.
If the previous animated films that DC have been releasing is anything to go by, this should be great.

Trailer for the documentary Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods is now online, he is hands down one of my favourite writers of all time. His work is what got me back into comics early this decade with his run on New X-Men, which I think was the most forward thinking run the X-Men have had since the 70’s reboot.
Marvel has systematically retconned nearly every element he introduced in that...
Chromeo’s sound harkens back to a time that I wish I was old enough to understand the music around me. Key-tars and vocoders (not auto-tune) are the order of the day for this duo and I for one have been a fan of their music and this new video just makes my smile.

Urban Abstract is a beautiful use of motion animation by art director Jopsu Ramu of multidisciplinary design agency Musuta and Tokyo artist Shun Kawakami (artless Inc).
I quite like the mix of idea of nature and the urban landscapes, a very well done short video.
